Was the last post's title pornographic? I didn't mean it like that. Honestly!

KraussPa (one s or two?) will not be attending university in Seattle. Meaning I will know no one. Texas is beginning to look better, little by little. I never thought I'd be saying that.

Brother is in LA, at a Dodger's game as we speak. The Tigers kicked the shit out of the (Cleveland) Indians tonight. I haven't been to a Tigers game in a million years (approximately) so I plan on going to as many as I can this summer before I move to... wherever. Then, I wanna see Ichiro play.

Oh, bedtime.

Seeking: professional gun-slinger to alleviate un-slung gun. Could you be the one?

What if I moved to Texas?

Passover went well. It works a lot better if you take all the religion (read: boring) stuff out of it. It's especially hard to do a seder with non-Jews when half of everything is in Hebrew - a language Israelis only pretend to understand. Afterall, they don't include the vowels. The food (that I spent all day making) was delicious, though I can't say much about the chicken, what with my vegetarian tendencies and all.

But seriously, what if I moved Texas?

I don't know what's sexy, but I bet I can add up all the change in your purse real fast

Dear Elizabeth,

Please always leave comments on this pitiful excuse for a web log (weblog... we blog... webl og).

Dear everyone who isn't Elizabeth,

I don't get to update this very much because I have no convenient access to an internet connection. My dusty piece of shit computer hasn't been turned on in months. Now that I don't write papers (and because that thing won't connect to the www) I have no reason to use it. The only regular access to a 21st century comnputer is at work, and we all know why that's not a blessing.

So I'll contintue this thing, but if updates don't come at breakneck speed (a la ) don't rain on my parade. Anyhow, I've been so busy being popular these past few weeks that I just haven't had to time to find a way to update this thing.

It occurred to me that I haven't been intellectually challenged in a long time (seeing how long I can go without showering doesn't count, apparently). Most of my time has been spent hanging out with friends in bar-type atmospheres. My social life has been packed. And for once, I'm not being entirely sarcastic.

Well, gentiles (and Jew) Passover is coming up, and, Dayenu, I'm having the annual Goy-fest seder. This year, however, I won't attempt any Haggadah action and will merely cook a delightful meal for all my non-Jewish friends. The religious part of the seder was unfulfilling because I was, regularly, the only one at the table who had any connection to it (and that connection is tenuous at best). Neverhteless, my props to Moishe for sticking his neck out for the Chosen People. Oh, and thanks be to G-d for saving us from the oppressors (over and over and over).

Interestingly, if I recall correctly, Miriam thanked G-d for drowning the encroaching Egyptian army in the Red Sea (Mi chamocha, and all (apologies for misspelled transliterations of Hebrew)) but the Almighty smote Moses and Aaron's sister. Afterall, El doesn't like to have to kill people and we should not be grateful for anyone's death.

Mommy had laser eye surgery today. By tomorrow she should be completely healed and seeing as well as the day she was born... if she had been born with eyes open and everything... and no womb gunk in the eyes (because womb gunk has a way of working its way into crevices of all sorts). Point being, my Moopi will finally be able to see well.

Had a few fun family reunions recently. I was in North Carolina for Aunt Kathryn's 90th birthday party. I met several members of the far-dispersed family. Cousins from all over the south (Tennessee, Virginia, N.C.), San Francisco, and second cousins from N.Y.C., Philly, and somewhere in Cali. This week also saw another reunion. I went to Grosse Pointe to hang with the grandparents and to reconnect with cousin Molly (from Connecticut). She'll be heading off to Santa Clara College in Northern Cali in the fall, studying psychology and English. Dig - she wants to go to Russia and work in orphanages. Bright future, I say.

Friend Elizabeth (see above) recently turned 21 and I have yet to buy her a drink (legally). This week has been dotted with several failed attempts to connect at some sort of bar. Wish us luck.

Stay safe, freaks and geeks.
